One shared Home for the people you live with.
Chores, the shopping list and the money, in one place that everybody in the house can see. Built for couples, families and flatmates.
Works in any browser, and installs to your Home Screen if you want it to. The Android app is in closed testing.
A Home, not a workspace
You make a Home, give it a name, and share a code with the people you live with. From then on you are all looking at the same thing. Nobody has to ask whether the milk is already on the list, or who paid for what last week.
-
Chores
Who is doing what, and who did. Every completion is kept, so the app can tell you later that the washing-up has been one person for a month instead of guessing.
-
The list
One shopping list, live. Tick milk off in the shop and it disappears from their phone before you reach the till. Write "500g rice" and the amount is kept with it.
-
Money
What was spent, and who owes whom. Split it however it really went. Paying somebody back is its own entry, so the number at the top is the net of everything, not a guess.
Built for a house, not an office
- It updates while you watch. When somebody ticks something off, it changes on every phone in the Home within the second. A shared list nobody trusts is a shared list people go back to WhatsApp for.
- It works with no signal. The list behaves normally in a basement supermarket and syncs when you come back up. That is the designed behaviour, not a degraded one.
- Rupees, written properly. ₹1,00,000, not ₹100,000. Money is stored to the paisa so a running total cannot drift.
- No ads, and nothing sold. No advertising ID, no tracking across apps, and amounts never leave your Home. Read the privacy policy; it is short on purpose.
Been invited?
Open the link somebody in your Home sent you. It looks like kinos.social/join/ABC123 and it will take you straight in. If you only have the six-character code, open KinOS and choose Join a Home.
